Made it through the first chemo. They finished about a half hour ago. Ed feels much better than he did earlier today. We're going to try and take a nap. It's been a long day. He says he is not up for visitors tonight since we don't know what to expect in the next few hours and it was a rough day earlier. Thanks for understanding. I'll check in later and let you know how he's doing before i go to bed. Thank you Tonderum/Hanks families for the beautiful bromeliad. It's gorgeous. Liz
Well thank God the first day of chemo is over. I was more worried than a mother hen. Deb says what is chemo anyway, do they put you in a microwave type thingy and turn it on for a while? (Pass the peroxide, Deb, you're not blonde enough). Good to hear your voice in the background when I called Liz, Ed. Get healthy and let's plan that first trip! Love You, TC
ReplyDeleteI just picked up this link from daughter Jen. I enjoyed talking with you Ed last Thursday, although that was before you knew much about those biopsies. I guess there's no time to waste and from what I'm reading in this blog, the treatment now is very aggressive. I also know how you'll tackle this with the best attitude and plenty of friends and family right there for support. Both Robyn and I send our best and are looking forward to seeing that motorhome in our driveway!
ReplyDeleteEd, count us in for the beach, I will go camping with you brother anytime.
